Wadaag Commons bringing affordable three- and four-bedroom units

A groundbreaking event on Monday, July 1 marked the kickoff of a new 39-unit housing development that will include affordable, high-demand three- and four-bedroom units. Wadaag Commons (1900 E 22nd St) is a co-development project led by Noor Companies (a Somali-American, woman-owned social enterprise) and Redesign, Inc. (a nonprofit Community Development Corporation dedicated to improving the five neighborhoods of Greater Longfellow: Seward, Longfellow, Cooper, Howe, and Hiawatha). Wadaag Commons is the sixth and final piece of the larger Seward Commons development.
